Surfing through other astros sites, I ran across Plunk Biggio. Interesting site, you should check it out. The site is more than just chronicles of all the times Craig Biggio has been plunked and how many more times he needs to be plunked to pass the current plunk record holder, Hughie Jennings. The whole concept seems a bit humorous to me. I mean of all the stats baseball players collect and record, this one is one of the oddest. No one wants to be plunked, it hurts and no fan wants to see their favorite player in pain either. But a record is a record, so B-G-O, B-G-O! lol
Another interesting fact off the website. The last pitcher to plunk Biggio was Dontrelle Willis. Astros season opener is vs the Florida Marlins. Starting pitching Oswalt vs … Willis (hmm…)
