The Astros avoided arbitration with Mike Lamb when he agreed to one year contract for 2.7 million. I’m personally happy about this signing. I think Lamb is a valuable left-handed bat to come off the bench. He can play both third and first if needed.
The Astros have four players that remain available for arbitration, Morgan Ensberg, Adam Everett, Jason Lane, and Brad Lidge.
