Richard Hidalgo recently signed a minor league contract becoming a Houston Astro again. His best year was with the Astros back in 2000 when he hit .314, 44 homeruns and 122 RBIs. I think this is a good signing. Since it is a minor league contract, we are not risking a lot. If can still perform at the Major League level, then we found a diamond in a ruff.
I think we can use his canon of an arm in the outfield. Good luck to doggie!
