Well….

Today, Senator George Mitchell will release his report on steroid use in Major League Baseball. We know about Bonds. Astro fans, how will you feel if various Houston Astros are on this list?

There are early rumors that Roger Clemens’ name is on the list.

If so, how does this effect the Clemens’ legacy?

There have whispers about Bagwell using steroids. How will you feel if Bags’ name is on this list?

What about the player we just traded for, Miguel Tejada? He is rumored to be on the list.

I have argued on the Podcast that Bonds should not be in the Hall of Fame because of his steroid use. I also acknowledge that I have to remain consistent. If Clemens, Bagwell, any of the Astros, or any other MLB player that I am fan are on Mitchell’s list that I will not support them for a bid for a Hall of Fame, either.

However, I think it needs to be pointed out… There may be some “good” guys on this list. They are still good guys… but a jackass is still a jackass. Sorry, Bonds is still a jackass.
