The astros bats showed up today scoring more runs than the first two games combined but it was a little too late as the Giants stomp on the ‘Stros 10-4. Brett Byers went 6 innings, giving up 4 ERs with 4 SOs. Fulchino gave up 4 ERs on 4 hits including a HR.

Roy Oswalt had an decent outing, giving up 3 ER in 6 innings but the Astros bats just couldn’t do anything against two time Cy Young winner Lincecom.

Another good outing for Wandy Rodriguez, seven innings and five strikeouts but it’s was Carlos Lee’s grand slam that broke the game open as the Astros won 11-6. They look to sweep and cut the deficit to one game behind the division leading Cardinals.
