Astrocast will offer a global coverage including remote areas on land, oceans and mountains.

Business Analyst

We are looking for a business analyst to integrate our team. You will support the Business Developer and the CTO to develop business opportunity for Astrocast, provide detailed market analysis and actively participate to the project documentation.

Duties and responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Analyze market strategy, client requirements, potentials and financials
  • Identify business opportunity for Astrocast
  • Interface with the technical team to develop Astrocast’s products and services
  • Prepare presentations and reports, participate to project documentation
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering with 1-3 years of business analysis experience or degree in business analysis equivalent
  • Knowledge of M2M and IoT markets
  • Knowledge of space sector is an asset
  • Prospecting skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Open-minded and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving team
  • Softwares: Microsoft Office, Trello, Skype
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French and/or any other language is an asset

Working conditions

  • Start Date: as soon as possible
  • Contract / mission duration: CDI with 3-month trial
  • Activity rate: 50-100%

Software Engineer

We are looking for a versatile software engineer to integrate our team. You will help implementing and testing the software on-board our spacecrafts and also on our other software-related activities.

Duties and responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Contribute to the development of highly reliable embedded software
  • Plan software tests and participate to the qualification of the electronics
  • Contribute to the hardware test benches design
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software
  • Contribute to our other software projects

Qualifications

  • Degree in Software Engineering
  • Good knowledge of C++ 11 software development
  • Experience in embedded systems, especially on TI MSP430 platform
  • Experience with GCC toolchain
  • Experience in Unit Testing
  • Open-minded and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving team
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French is an asset
  • Software: Linux, GCC, Git, Trello

Working conditions

  • Start Date: As soon as possible

  • Activity rate: 80%-100%
